Stephen Rockmann spent two decades running hospitality businesses, Gus's Cafe and Tongue and Groove, managing up to 140 staff across complex, high-pressure operations. He understood what it meant to run a business where every hour and every dollar counted. When he moved into construction, he found the same problems he'd seen in hospitality, only worse: disconnected systems, delayed information, and teams making decisions on data that was always one step behind.

Mitesh Patel came from a completely different world. Defence architecture. Cyber. The kind of rigorous, systematic thinking that doesn't tolerate gaps in information or broken handoffs. He got his builder's licence, built homes from first principles, and spent six years sitting alongside 45+ builders to understand what they actually needed, not what a software company assumed they needed.

Together, they built Ready Team AI. Not a generic project management tool dressed up for construction. A platform designed from the ground up around the reality of running a building business in Australia: AISC compliance, PAYG, subcontractor chains, progress claims, invoice chaos, and margin pressure on every single job.

Bob and Betty launched in 2024. On the day we activated them, we processed 1,800 invoices in the first 24 hours. Builders who turned them on averaged 156 minutes saved per week in their first month.
